"THE GEORGE" - APPLICATION FOR THE VARIATION OF A PREMISES LICENCE FOR THE PREMISES KNOWN AS "THE GEORGE" 84 RICHARDSHAW LANE, STANNINGLEY, LEEDS, LS28 6BN pdf icon PDF 93 KB

To consider the report of the Assistant Chief Executive (Corporate Governance) setting out details of an application for the variation of a premises licence in respect of “The George” 84 Richardshaw Lane, Stanningley, Leeds, LS28 6BN.

Minutes:

With the agreement of the other Members the Chair of the Sub-Committee agreed to change the order of the agenda to take this application first as there were members of the public present. The Sub-Committee took into consideration the written and verbal representations made by members of the public, West Yorkshire Police, the Environmental Protection Team and the applicant. The Sub-Committee resolved to grant the application in part placing restrictions on the hours applied for and the use of the external area . The grant of the variation was also subject to the incorporation of the agreements reached with the responsible authorities and the measures outlined in Box P of the application being incorporated into the operating schedule of the premises licence.

 

RESOLVED: That the application to vary the premises licence be granted in part subject to restrictions on the hours applied for, the use of the external area and the incorporation of the agreements reached with the responsible authorities and the measures outlined in Box P of the application being incorporated into the operating schedule of the premises licence.

"WALKABOUT" - APPLICATION FOR THE VARIATION OF A PREMISES LICENCE FOR THE PREMISES KNOWN AS "WALKABOUT" 67-83 COOKRIDGE STREET, LEEDS, LS2 3AW pdf icon PDF 92 KB

To consider the report of the Assistant Chief Executive (Corporate Governance) setting out details of an application for the variation of a premises licence in respect of “Walkabout” 67-83 Cookridge Street, Leeds, LS2 3AW.

Minutes:

The Sub-Committee noted that an amended version of the report had been circulated to all parties prior to the hearing. All parties were also in receipt of additional information and  a proposed additional condition submitted by the applicant. The Sub-Committee took into consideration all the written and verbal representations made at the hearing by the applicant, responsible authorities and the fact that the premises was located in Area 1 of the Cumulative Impact Policy (CIP). The Members determined that there was sufficient evidence to deviate from the Council’s CIP for the area. The Sub-Committee resolved to grant the application as requested subject to the inclusion of the conditions reached with the responsible authorities, the conditions offered by the applicant and those measures outlined in Box P of the application being incorporated in the operating schedule of the premises licence.
