Minutes:

Members considered a report by the Director of City Development which provided initial feedback on the consultation exercise for the Leeds LDF Core Strategy – “Preferred Approach”

In addressing the report Mr Feeney provided some background information on the LDF process. Referring to section 3 of the submitted report “Main Issues” Mr Feeney identified the following areas where comments had been received:

·  Spatial Vision & Strategy

·  Green Infrastructure (GI)

In summing up the Chair said the report provided an overview of the Core Strategy Preferred Approach consultation and highlighted the ‘headline’ comments received suggesting it was not intended to be an exhaustive level of analysis to the consultation responses received.

The Chair said he was aware that further detailed analysis was underway and would be reported back to a future Panel, as a basis to move the Core Strategy process forward to its next stages of Publication and Submission.
