To declare any personal/prejudicial interests for the purpose of Section 81(3) of the Local Government Act 2000 and paragraphs 8 to 12 of the Members’ Code of Conduct.

There were no declarations of personal/prejudicial interests for the purpose of section 81(3) of the Local Government Act 2000 and paragraphs 8 to 12 of the Members’ Code of Conduct.

To review the decision of the Assessment Sub-Committee, consider whether the complaint meets the initial tests as set out in the report, and decide what action to take in relation to the complaint.

The Monitoring Officer submitted a review request in relation to the above complaint to the Review Sub-Committee for consideration.  The complaint was originally considered by the Assessment Sub-Committee on 23^rd March 2010.

RESOLVED – The Review Sub-Committee resolved:

·  That there was no potential breach of the Members’ Code of Conduct disclosed by the complaint; and

·  To take no further action on the allegations.

To consider any lessons to learn from the above cases, and to identify any Standards Committee procedures which may require revision.

The Review Sub-Committee resolved to recommend that the Chief Planning Officer contacts all Members to advise them to clarify that they are representing their constituents’ views, when doing so at Plans Panel meetings.
