This page lists the meetings for Standards and Conduct Committee.
The Standards and Conduct Committee is
responsible for promoting and maintaining high standards of conduct
by members and co-opted members of Leeds City Council. As part of this duty the Committee advises the
Council in relation to the adoption, revision or replacement of the
codes of conduct for members and employees of the Council.
The Committee has also established a
Consideration Sub-Committee to consider and determine allegations
that a member has failed to comply with the Council’s code of
conduct, or that a member of a parish council in the Leeds area has
failed to comply with the Parish Council’s code of
conduct. The Sub-Committee consider
whether any action needs to be taken in relation to a failure to
comply with the code, and can make recommendations on what action
might be appropriate.
