To consider the report of the Director of City Development on the outcome of consultation  on the Street Design Guide, on its proposed adoption as a Supplementary Planning Document and as a response to the concerns expressed by the Leeds branch of the National Federation of the Blind in their deputation to Council on 10^th September 2008.

The Director of City Development submitted a report on the outcome of consultation on the Street Design Guide, on its proposed adoption as a Supplementary Planning Document and as a response to the concerns expressed by the Leeds Branch of the National Federation of the Blind in their deputation to Council on 10^th September 2008.

The Board noted that additional information which related to this matter had been received from the Leeds Branch of the National Federation of the Blind.

RESOLVED – That the report be deferred, with a further report being submitted to the Board following the consideration of the additional information received from the Leeds Branch of the National Federation of the Blind.
