27/04/2020 - Authority to Procure a contractor to replace heating systems in two high rise housing blocks including installation of ground source heat pumps (GSHP)

The Director of Resources and Housing:

 

•  Approved this pilot scheme to replace heating and hot water systems in two high rise blocks, The Heights East and The Height West, and install ground source heating pumps (GSHP);

•  Authorised spend of £1.94m from the capital programme over the financial year of 2020/21 for these capital works; and

•  Approved the proposed procurement of an external contractor, for these specialist works via a direct award, under a competitively procured framework called Procurement for Housing (PFH).
