Diversion of Thorner Footpath Nos. 6 and 7 and the Creation of a Footpath Between Thorner 5 and 6

22/04/2021 - Diversion of Thorner Footpath Nos. 6 and 7 and the Creation of a Footpath Between Thorner 5 and 6

The Natural Environment Manager authorised the City Solicitor:

(a) to make and advertise a Public Path Diversion Order in accordance with Section 119 of the Highways Act 1980, in respect of parts of Thorner Footpath Nos. 6 and 7 shown on the maps attached (Background Document A)
and
(b) to confirm the Order, subject to there being no objections or in the event of objections which cannot be withdrawn, for the order to be referred to the Secretary of State, Department of the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs for determination
and
(c) authorised the City Solicitor to enter into a Public Path Creation Agreement with the landowner in accordance with Section 25 of the Highways Act 1980 to create a public footpath between Thorner Footpath No. 5 and 6 with a width of 2.5 metres as shown on Background Document B.
