The Director of Communities and Environment
approved the recommendations to:
• Approve the implementation of the Fixed Penalty Notice for
householders who fail to meet their duty of care with regards to
the passing of their waste to an authorised person.
• That the Fixed Penalty Notice is set at £200, reduced
to £150 if paid within 10 days.
• That the introduction of the Fixed Penalty Notice is
accompanied by a publicity campaign.
