The Deputy Director of Children and Families
agreed the implementation of a competitive tender for the delivery
of weekend and residential targeted short breaks services from 1st
April 2020 to 31st March 2023. The decision will benefit children
and young people with SEND and their families by funding high
quality short breaks. The total budget is up to
£240,000.
The Director of Children and Families agreed to waive contract
procedure rule 15.2 and to approve the tender split of 70 % quality
and 30% price.
