A key decision is an executive decision which is likely to:

How to get more information about a particular key decision
The agenda papers for Executive Board meetings, and the documents being considered by officers taking key decisions, are available five working days before the decision will be made through the Council's website.
The contact details of a lead officer are provided for each key decision listed below. Please contact the lead officer directly if you wish to obtain copies or extracts of any other listed documents, or if you wish to receive details of further documents as they become available. Sometimes the papers you request may contain exempt of confidential information. If this is the case, the lead officer will explain why it will not be possible to make copies available.
The Chief Officer of Asset Management and Regeneration has been requested to approve the use of Affordable Housing Commuted Sums to support the Council Housing Growth Acquisitions Programme in the acquisition of 68 properties across 2022/23 and 2023/24. This funding will support the delivery of much needed affordable housing across the city.

The Director of Resources is requested to approve the competitive tender procurement activity to appoint up to 4 contractors to undertake Public Bathing Adaptation Works across the Council’s housing stock. The contract duration is proposed to be for 3 years with the option to extend for a further two 12 month periods subject to the Council’s discretion. The estimated value of the works is £2,550,000 (£850,000 per annum) and £4,250,000 including extension options.

This report seeks approval from Executive Board to position the Council’s future investment in the independent cultural sector to maximise opportunities and to connect its investment and impacts firmly to the Best City Ambition. Following a period of redesign, funding programmes would operate under one umbrella – Leeds’ Cultural Investment Programme – and work to common aims, priorities and principles across the programme. Approval is sought to:
• Approve the redesign of the current funds as the Leeds Cultural Investment Programme working to the shared aim, priorities and principles and implementation approach, as set out in this report.
• Approve a new three-year investment programme subject to annual Council budget setting and therefore to potential change.
• Subject to recommendation b), agree to the Director of City Development using his existing delegated powers to approve grant funding decisions for these programmes, with awards of grants made in accordance with the proposed aim, principles and priorities and in support of the Best City Ambition.
