Consultation process

A programme of activities as part of the city conversation on waste, commenced in Spring 2019. This has involved surveying 1,000 residents, holding sector-based workshop style events, a public installation at various locations around the city. The development of the strategy has been informed by the cross-party Waste Strategy Advisory Board and the Scrutiny Board (Environment, Housing and Communities) inquiry into waste management services in 2018.
