The DfE has announced a 2.75% pay award for all teachers at the minima and maxima of each pay range, only 0.75% of which is to be funded by government. The LA has budgeted 2% across all pay points meaning the additional costs to be incurred may exceed 500k. These costings and options are being worked through for trade union and stakeholder consultation and final approval.
