To enter into a contract to support the delivery of Shared Cost AVCs for LCC staff

Via the West Yorkshire Pension Fund, LCC offers staff the option to supplement their pension by joining an Additional Voluntary Contribution scheme. These can be operated as a salary sacrifice scheme which enables both employees and employers to benefit from additional savings on National Insurance contributions. To facilitate this other West Yorkshire councils work use a partner to support the administration and marketing of schemes. It is proposed LCC does this to best achieve savings and offer a more attractive employee benefit.
