Community Asset Transfer of the former Bramley Lawn Day Centre to Bramley Elderly Action

To grant a 25 year peppercorn lease on a full repairing and insuring basis for the former Bramley Lawn Day Centre to Bramley Elderly Action.  The transfer will enable Bramley Elderly Action to open a new community facility in Bramley & Stanningley Ward that will be available to all residents of the local area, with a particular focus on older people.

Consultation process

Bramley Elderly Action have undertaken consultation with potential users and the wider community, including an open day held in September 2011.  Local people have been given the opportunity to help Bramley Elderly Action develop their plans and findings have been incorporated into the final proposal.
