Consultation process
The Executive Member has been consulted. The number of visitors in the first year of operation was 150,000, which is ten times the number during the final year of the plant nursery at Red Hall. In a recent survey of 875 visitors, 97.5% would recommend the Arium to a friend. Visitors will typically visit more than one element with buying plants and shrubs the most popular (71%) followed by visiting the outdoor play area / crafts (59%), with 54% stating they visited the café. These findings support the idea of further developing play at the Arium.
Consultees
The proposals would be subject to planning consent and further consultation would be undertaken as part of this process.
