Purpose:

·  The Director of Public Health will be requested to approve a variation to the contract price for the Community Drug and Alcohol Prevention, Treatment and Recovery Service (DN210921) which is known as Forward Leeds and delivered by Humankind. 

·  This will enable the Forward Leeds service to continue delivering targeted interventions out of GP surgeries and other locality based settings across the city for a further three years from 1 July 2020

Decision:

The Director of Public Health in accordance with Contracts Procedure Rule 21.7 approved a variation to the contract price for the Community Drug and Alcohol Prevention, Treatment and Recovery Service (DN210921) (Forward Leeds) led by Humankind to include an additional £1.107m of CCG investment in locality-based work for the period 1 July 2020 to 30 June 2023.
