To approve the development of proposals and initial investment in fostering and placement support services to continue to improve outcomes for children by creating increased in-house capacity for children and young people to reduce reliance on externally commissioned fostering and residential placements and in so doing to generate savings across children and family’s placement budgets.
The Director of Children & Families has agreed to:
b) Approve the overall business case as described in this report; and
c) Approve the establishment of the required new posts, as identified at appendix 1.
