The decision is to undertake a call-off from the councils’ Re-Roofing and Associated Works framework, set up in April 2021, in order to carry out a price only competitive exercise to select and subsequently appoint two contractors to undertake such works, predominantly in 2023/4.
The estimated value of the works to be delivered externally is approximately £3m (£1.5m for each contractor).
The Re-Roofing framework contains four contractors. These contractors are used for works that are not able to be delivered in house.
